The car shows us how the Pajun (the model that will be the competitor of the Tesla Model S) will look like. The Mission E has a length of 4.85 meters, a height of 1.30 meters and it is considerably wider than the Panamera.

Porsche has not revealed the details of the powertrain of the Mission E, but they said that the combined power of the two electric motors of the car is more than 600 hp. Given that the weight of the car is slightly more than 2,000 kilos, Porsche claims that the Mission E speeds up to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds and up to 200 km/h in 12 seconds, while its autonomy is around 530 km.

According to Porsche, the production version of the model which will be launched towards the end of the decade, will differ from its competitors in performance. The charging system of the Mission E, is called Porsche Turbo Charging and it uses for the first time in the automotive industry, 800 volts (twice as much, compared with the system of Tesla). Therefore, the battery of the Mission E can be charged by 80% in just 15 minutes and at this level it provides an autonomy of 400 km.
