Porsche has announced today that the Mission E concept that they presented at the Frankfurt auto show, will pass in production at the end of the decade. The production car will be purely electric, allowing Porsche “to open a new chapter in the history of sports cars”.

Its production will take place at Porsche’s plant in Zuffenhausen, in which the company will spent €700 million for the construction of a new assembly plant and a new paint shop and they will also hire 1,000 new people. Part of the investment is the expansion of the factory of engine production, which will be upgraded so that it can produce the electric motors of the car.
