The model’s sales in continental Europe and the UK are quite high on the list, in the fourth position. From the month of May to September, the sales of the car have passed those of the Jaguar XE, and the Volvo S60.

Sergio Marchionne, CEO of the FIAT Chrysler Group, said that he was pleased by the sales of the model so far, which has also won prizes as the best car of the group, with expects seeing a rise in sales when the car will be available in the United States market.

Marchionne also confirmed that the Stelvio, the new SUV of Alfa Romeo, will make its first appearance at the Los Angeles auto show and hopefully it will start being available worldwide in the first quarter of 2017. The car will use the same platform as the Giulia, having as opponents the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5.

Alfa Romeo has sold until now 5,105 Giulia in continental Europe, ranking in fifth position behind the C-Class, the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. The 4th place in the ranking that was mentioned before, refers exclusively to sales in September.
