Alfa Romeo has given the green light for the production of its new flagship, that has an internal codename 961. This car will be the competitor of the Mercedes E-Class, the BMW 5-Series, the Audi A6 and the Volvo S90 and according to the latest rumors it will be named Alfetta.
This new model will be based on the same rear-wheel drive platform, as the one used by the Giulia and the Stelvio. It will be offered with many engines and probably also in a hybrid version, as the company has said that from 2018 they will entered in the field of hybrid cars.
