Seat today announced the off-road version of the Leon ST. The name of the model is X-Perience, having +15 mm more ground clearance, protective plastic all around, aluminum protections in the front and rear bumper, roof rails and alloy wheels of 17 and 18 inches.
The interior features brown leather/Alcantara upholstery with orange stitches, with the luggage space starting from 587 liters and going up to 1,470 liters by folding the rear seats.
It will be available with the 1.8 TSI 180 hp engine with 280 Nm of torque, the 1.6 TDI with 110 hp and 250 Nm of torque and the 2.0 TDI with 150 hp and 320 Nm of torque and 184 hp with 380 Nm of torque. All engines will be combined with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic DSG gearbox, that sends power to all wheels.
The official debut of the car will be made at the Paris Exhibition in October with sales beginning shortly thereafter.
