Land Rover will not release the Discovery Sport SVR, but the president of SVO, said that the Discovery will get a sporty version, which will be probably called SVX.
The new Discovery is expected to debut sometime in 2016 and according to rumors the SVX version will be released 1 year later.
The president of SVO said
There is a market for cars with more offroad capabilities so of course we are looking into it. In the USA there is snow in M. East there is sand in areas such as Australia and South Africa there is the need to access difficult paths.
