The new generation of the Volkswagen Beetle will be presented in 2018, this was confirmed by Heinz-Jakob Neusser, Chairman of the Board of Volkswagen that said that the new generation of the Beetle will be released in three years and that it will be based on the MQB platform.
The new platform, opens up the possibility of a variety of new environment-friendly versions, with hybrid or electric drive systems. Neusser also said that the car will have an new design.
