Volkswagen has confirmed formally that the next generation of the Phaeton, will be available in a fully electric version. According to VW, this version will offer the necessary autonomy for long journeys, with the new Phaeton to have an “emotional design” and to be equipped with next generation support and connectivity systems.
According to Volkswagen, the new Phaeton will be “the flagship of the profile of the brand over the next decade”, which means that it will be launched in 3-4 years. In addition to a fully electric version, the new Phaeton will also be offered with the new W12 engine of the company, that is currently available for the Bentley Bentayga.
