Toyota presented the TRD 14R-60 and style Cb editions of the GT 86 for the Japanese market, that change significantly the appearance of the car.

The TRD 14R-60 is based on TRD Griffon concept and it is equipped with an aggressive body kit consisting of different bumpers, new side skirts and inflated fenders. The model has also a carbon fiber roof, rear diffuser, a huge spoiler, new exhaust tailpipes and 18 inch forged magnesium wheels with 235/40/18 tires. The interior features new, lighter seats, carbon decorations and a steering wheel with Alcantara.
The two-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine of the car has a new air intake with new filter and oil cooler. Despite the change of the intake the horsepower and torque remains the same (200 hp and 205 Nm of torque). The engine is combined with an upgraded six-speed gearbox with short relationships. The flywheel is now lighter and the clutch is more durable.
The 14R60 has also improved-six-piston brakes with 365mm front disc and 330mm two piston for the rear and limited slip differential, while the weight of the car is 1,230 kilos. Production will be limited to 100 units and the price of this special version begins from 6.300.000 yen.

On the other hand, the Toyota GT 86 style Cb is the production version of the Toyota 86x style Cb Concept with the biggest change at the front part, where it has a completely new design, with a new bumper, new lights and a new grille. At the rear there are new exhaust tailpipes, new bumper, spoiler and new rear lights.
The car stands on the BBS rims with tires sized 215/45/18 front and 225/45/19 rear and the only changes mechanically are the large Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers front and two piston at the rear. The interior features new lighting on the instrument panel, dark brown upholstery, new carpets and new decorations.
