Toyota has trademarked the S-FR name at the American patent office, saying that it will be used in cars, with rumors saying that the name will be used for the replacement of the Supra.
The car will be presented in 2017 and it will be developed in collaboration with BMW. It will be equipped with a six-cylinder turbo engine. The Supra will be placed above the GT86, it will cost more than the Corvette in the US and it will borrow design elements from the FT-1 Concept.
