Volkswagen presented the renewed Passat. The car features new front and rear bumpers, a new front grille and optional LED lights for the front and rear. At the rear, it has a slightly changed luggage compartment cover, while the whole body of the car has chrome details. In addition, there is the R-Line package, which features a new sporty bumper, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and 19 inch wheels.
The interior of the car has a new instrument panel and a redesigned steering wheel. It also features the new MIB II infotainment system with USB connectivity and Bluetooth, that also has compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mechanically, it is available with a 1.8 liter TSI engine, a 2 liter TDI and a 3.6 liter V6 with 280 hp. Sales of the revamped Passat will be launched later this year, with a starting price at $22,440.
