Honda presented at the Paris auto show, the Civic Type R Prototype, that shows us how the next Type R Civic will look like. The car is based on the hatchback Civic and it has a muscular body kit and other various modifications, which according to Honda help its aerodynamics.

Its front part has an aggressive bumper with a carbon fiber splitter, red accents, the Type R logo and a new grille. The car has also a scoop on the bonnet, while its sides, feature carbon fiber skirts.
Its rear has a huge, carbon fiber diffuser with three exhaust tailpipes, with the center one being pained in red and a big spoiler. The car stands on 20-inch black alloy rims that have a red line at their lip.
The production version of the new Civic Type R will be revealed in 2017 and it will be produced in the Japanese company’s factory in Swindon, England and from there, it will be exported around the world, including for the first time, the US. The sales of the new Civic Type R will be launched in the second half of 2017.
