The LaFerrari Aperta was presented at the Paris auto show. The car is offered with both a removable carbon roof, and with a soft top cloth roof. It has significant and extensive changes in comparison to the closed LaFerrari, in order to maintain the same torsional rigidity.
The aerodynamic of the vehicle is also further advanced so as to guarantee that it has the same coefficient of drag even without a ceiling. Mechanically it is equipped with a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated engine, producing 800 hp, combined with an electric motor of 163 hp, with its total yield reaching 963 hp with 900 Nm of torque.
It can do the 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds, the 0-200 km/h in less than 7 seconds, the 0-300 km/h in 15 seconds and it has a top speed of 350 km/h, with its performance being identical to that of the closed LaFerrari.
The Ferrari did not specify how many cars will be built, nor their cost. However rumors say that just 150 Aperta will be built with a cost of €3.5 million each. The first deliveries of the car will start in 2017.
