Ford unveiled officially today the Shelby Super Snake, during the Barrett-Jackson auction. Shelby American celebrates 50 years since its establishment, with the Super Snake coming into production in just 500 units.
It is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 670 hp, with the company offering a Kenne Bell or Whipple supercharger that makes the car produce 750 hp, that enable it to accelerate to 96 km/h from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds and to do the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds.
Aesthetically, the changes are not many, with Shelby to equip the car with a new bonnet, new skirts, splitters, a new grille, a discreet spoiler and a big diffuser.
The car will be available around the world, with its starting price being $69,995.
