Audi presented the new RS5 that is equipped with a bi turbo 2.9-liter engine, producing 450 hp with 600 Nm of torque. Thanks to its reduced weight, combined with the increased horsepower and torque, the new RS5 does the 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds with its top speed reaching 280 km/hour.
The power passes to all the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The permanent all-wheel drive Quattro system, distributes the power with a ration of 40:60 to the axes in order to provide a more dynamic behavior and better traction.
The suspension of the RS5 is new. The car has carbon-ceramic brakes and a dynamic steering system with RS settings. Its interior features sport seats with Nappa leather, a three-spoke steering wheel, RS logos and the Audi virtual cockpit that shows information about the tire pressure, torque and G force. Orders for the car will begin in May with the first deliveries to be made in the summer.
