Mercedes-Benz will present at Geneva the C63 AMG Edition 507, the stronger version of the C63 AMG. The car will be available in coupe, saloon and estate version equipped with a V8 6,3 liter naturally aspirated engine that delivers 507 horses with 610 Nm torque, 50 horses and 10 Nm more than the C63 AMG. The increase in horsepower has been achieved by using the forged pistons of the SLS AMG in the engine.
The car will complete 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds in the coupe and saloon version and 4.3 seconds in the estate. The top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h.Mercedes announced an average consumption of 12 lt/100 km for the sedan and coupe versions and 12,2 lt for the Estate version (corresponding emissions of 280 and 285 g.CO2/km).
The C63 AMG Edition 507 will use new bigger brakes (compared to the C63 AMG), whith red six-piston calipers in front and four-calipers in the back with drilled discs measuring 360x36mm.
From a design point there have been some changes such as the 19 wheels with a tire size of 235/35 at the front and 255/30 at the rear,the gray stripes on the side and the black cover on the exterior mirrors. The interior will be available in leather and alcantara.There is also a new spoiler, new grille, dark lights and LED daytime running lights.Orders in Europe will begin in April, with the first deliveries to take place this June.
