This is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Concept. The prototype shows us how the S-Class Coupe will look like, it will be the replacement of the CL class and it will be unveiled in January 2014 in the Detroit, with sales beginning from March 2014 .

The concept is completely different from the S-Class sedan, it is almost ready to go to production, having among other new slim rear lights , fluid lines , steeply raked roofline , different design on the back, extremely thin rearview mirrors mounted on the doors , bolder front and rear fenders and dual tailpipes . Time rims are 21 inches with tires size 265/35 front and 295/35 rear . It has a length of 5.050 mm, width of 1.958 mm, height of 1.409 mm and a wheelbase of 2.945 mm. It will be equipped with a V8 twin-turbo engine producing 455 hp and 700 Nm of torque.

At the interior the Mercedes-Benz Concept S-Class Coupe has a slightly different layout than the S-Class. It features a new white instrument panel with more sculpted shape , three-spoke steering wheel, white coverings, soft calfskin , there’s no clock in the center of the dashboard , while it has a decorative foil . In the center of the dashboard there is a 12.3 inch screen and it also has silk handmade carpets.

Technologically it is equipped with Intelligent Drive system which using cameras , radar and sensors can drive the car by itself. The system can control the road 50 meters away from the point where the car is, to detect other objects , while it controls up to 500 meters, checking the street and adapting automatically the Magic Body Control suspension .
