Subaru is going to unveil the prototype of the next generation of the Subaru Legacy at the Los Angeles autoshow. The prototype features futuristic LED lights, hexagonal grille design similar to that of Viziv Concept, chrome decorations and it is painted in an Ocean Silver metallic paint .

Photos of the interior have not been published by Subaru, but the press release says the original cabin offers high functionality and enough space to accommodate four people. It will be dressed with brown leather trim with blue decorative. It will also feature a three-spoke sports steering wheel , sporty riding position and a multifunction display in the center of the instrument panel , which can be handled even by smartphone/tablet.

It has a length of 4.930 mm, width of 1.940 mm, height of 1.500 mm and a 2.880 mm wheelbase . It stands on 21 inch rims with tires measuring 265/40 and details about the engine is fitted have not been announced by Subaru .

The production version of the new Legacy is expected to occur sometime in 2014 , possibly in April in the exhibition in New York, and it will be released to the market as a 2015 model .
