The Mazda RX-7 Bathurst R, was released to celebrate the company’s win of the Bathurst 12-hour endurance race in Australia, between 1992 and 1994.

The car was equipped with a 13-B wankel engine producing 276 hp and it had a weight of just 1,260 kg, with Mazda to equip it with height adjustable dampers. Only 500 units of the car were built by Mazda and all of them were destined for the Japanese market.
