McLaren had built a total of 106 F1 with ten of them being the F1 GTR Longtail. One of the GTR Longtail with chassis number 20R, belongs to McLaren again, while the rest are owned by collectors.
The F1 GTR Longtail is code-named F1 GT and it features a fully adjustable suspension and a sequential six-speed gearbox. It has a weight of 915 kilos in total and it is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 BMW engine that produces 600 hp with 651 Nm of torque.
The first F1 GTR Longtail built, had a chassis number 19R, with the 20R being delivered to Gulf-Davidoff GTC Motorsport, that managed to finish in second place in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1997.
