Peugeot is preparing the production version fo the 308 R Hybrid Concept. The CEO of Peugeot on a recent interview said that the company is preparing to release a new halo car and sporty versions of the 208 and the 308.
Considering the success of the Focus RS, a super hot hatch would really help Peugeot in terms of sales. The production version of the 308 R Concept is expected to produce over 350 hp, seeing that the concept produced 493, by using a 1.6-liter THP engine that is found in the RCZ R and a hybrid system found in various models of the PSA Group such as the 3008 Hybrid4 and the Citroen DS5.
