The third generation of the Toyota Soarer is mostly famous, for being modified and used in drift events. The second generation, though that was produced from 1986 to 1991 and it was a luxury GT. In 1989, a limited version of the Toyota Soarer Z 20 was presented, called the Aerocabin which was produced in just 500 units.

The differenceof the Aerocabin from the simple Soarer is that the car had only two seats and an electric folding roof. In fact it had a targa hardtop, which reclined into the luggage compartment along with the rear window, while the B and C pillars stood in place.
It was equipped with a 7M-GTE 6-cylinder in-line 3-liter turbo engine, which delivered 232 horsepower with 325 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, sending the power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
This Toyota Soarer Aerocabin that you see in the pictures, has traveled only 67,000 miles and it is in great shape. It is painted in black color and its interior features leather seats in a two-tone color. In addition, it features keyless entry and it has an air suspension. The car will be auctioned by Mecum Auctions in October.
