Honda brought to the Bonneville salt flats, the S-Dream Streamliner, that is equipped with the small three-cylinder engine of the S660 Roadster, that has a capacity of only 660 ml.

This particular engine produces only 64 horsepower on the S660, but the one that was placed on the S-Dream Streamliner was modified to produce 190 hp.
The aerodynamic S-Dream Streamliner was able to reach 421.447 km/hour. The team that created this car was composed of 16 engineers, who were selected from among 100 that were keen to get involved and the record was achieved in the Category-A Group-1 Class-4 of FIA.
This record makes the S-Dream Streamliner the fastest Honda on the ground. The car was driven by Hikaru Miyagi.
