This is the new Hyundai Elantra, presented by the company in South Korea, where it is sold under the Avante name. The new generation of the compact sedan has grown in size, having a length of 4.570 mm and a wheelbase of 2.700 mm. It has a large chrome hexagonal grille, lights with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights and chrome handles.
The interior features an 8 inch touch screen, a premium sound system and rich comfort and safety equipment. It has an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.27 Cd, making it the most aerodynamic car in its class.
It will be available with a range of engines, between which there will be a 1.6 liter turbo diesel producing 136 hp with 300 Nm of torque, available with either a six-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic DCT dual clutch transmission, a 1.6 liter atmospheric producing 132 hp with 161 Nm of torque and a 2 liter petrol engine producing 149 hp with 180 Nm of torque.
