Hyundai in a special event in Seoul, presented a pre-production concept of their next car that will use hydrogen. For the time they have named the car Next Generation FCEV and its design borrows some elements from the FE Fuel Cell Concept that was presented at the Geneva auto show, in March.
It will replace the ix35 fuel-cell and it will have an autonomy of 360 miles per fill. Its design follows the new philosophy of Hyundai, featuring thin headlights, LED daytime running lights and fog lamps.
It is equipped with an engine that delivers 120 kW (163 hp) and 400 Nm of torque, with the power to be transferred to the front axle. More technical details will become known in the coming months, since the model is expected to be released on the market in the beginning of 2018.
