Hyundai at the Detroit auto show presented the Santa Cruz Crossover Truck Concept. The car is a concept pickup addressed “to a new generation of buyers who need a versatile and stylish mode of transport.”
It features LED lights, hexagonal honeycomb grille, large monoblock wheels, Brembo brakes with yellow calipers, with the small rear doors to open backwards, so that the access to the rear passengers is easier.
It is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine producing 190 hp with 406 Nm of torque. The power is transferred to all four wheels through the HTRAC four-wheel drive system, having an average consumption of 7.8 liters/100 km. Hyundai will take note of the reactions of the public to see whether to pass the car in production.
