Kia at the presentation of the Optima GT in Frankfurt, confirmed formally that the Optima, which now will be sold in Europe will acquire a wagon version, which will be the production version of the impressive Sportspace concept. Indeed, the Optima Wagon will also acquire a GT version that will be equipped with a 2 liter turbo gasoline engine producing 245 hp with 353 Nm of torque.
Kia also announced that the Optima sedan and wagon will acquire a plug-in hybrid version. The car will become available in 2016 and for now they have not officially announced the engine that it will be available with.
