Lamborghini presented at Geneva, the Huracan Performante, the most powerful version of the Huracan, that is officially the fastest production car on the Nurburgring with a time of 6:52.01.
The Huracan Performante is equipped with a modified 5.2-liter V10 atmospheric engine which produces 640 hp with 600 Nm of torque, allowing the car to do the 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and the 0-200 km/h in 8.9 seconds, with its top speed reaching 325 km/h.
Its V10 engine has acquired a new air intake and a new exhaust, with the car’s weight to be reduced by 40 kilos, from extensive use of carbon on its spoiler, bonnet, front spoiler, air ducts and vents.
The biggest change on the car is the active aerodynamic package, ALA (Aerodynamica Lamborghini Attiva), that uses electric motors in order to move the aerodynamic elements much faster than an equivalent hydraulic package.
Its interior features a new digital instrument panel that changes depending on the selected program from the ANIMA system (Strada, Sport, Corsa) and it is compatible with Apple CarPlay.
The Huracan Performante can be tailored by the Lamborghini Ad Personam program, with the price of the car in the US to start from $274,390, in Europe from €195,040 and in England from £173,270. The first deliveries of the car will begin in the summer of 2017.
