Lexus presented at Detroit the LC 500, which is the production version of the LF-LC concept. The Japanese 2 + 2 coupe model shows the company’s vision for a stylish car, full of technology and performance.
It is based on an all-new rear-wheel drive platform, called GA-L, with its weight distribution being 52/48 on the front and rear axle respectively. The LC 500 features a carbon ceiling, aluminum on the exterior part of the doors and carbon on their interior structure. It stands on wheels of 20 and 21 inches for the front and rear axles respectively, having Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
Its interior features high quality materials, a leather upholstery and and advanced infotainment system. Mechanically, it is equipped with a 5 liter V8 engine, which is mounted behind the front axle and delivers 467 hp and 530 Nm of torque, sending the power to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox and being able to do the 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
