Mazda last November announced at SEMA the MX-5 Cup and now they presented the first car at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in California.
The car will be the pace car of Laguna Seca and although the exact technical characteristics of the racing MX-5, have not been finalized and therefore have not been announced, it will probably be equipped by the same four-cylinder 2 liter SKYACTIV-G engine, as the “simple” MX-5.
