Toyota and Lexus, on the last day of July, celebrated the sale of the 8,000,000th hybrid model since 1997 and the first Prius.
Toyota has calculated that because of their hybrid vehicles, they have channeled 58 million fewer tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and they have saved 22 million liters of gasoline.
