The Japanese company has not yet released an official press release, but the new images of the car, show that the changes on the Japanese crossover are extensive, as it has an entirely new front part, with redesigned lights, a new grille and a new bumper. It also seems that its hood is more dynamic, having more pronounced lines.
Its interior features a new upholstery and a slightly redesigned center console. Mechanically it will be available with a new 1.0-liter gasoline engine producing 112 hp with 170 Nm of torque, a new 1.4-liter producing 140 hp with 220 Nm of torque and the existing 1.6-liter diesel engine with 120 hp and 320 Nm.
The 1-liter engine will be combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and it will emit 119 g/km of CO2, while the 1.4-liter will be offered with a six-speed manual gearbox, while optionally it can be combined with a 6-speed automatic, with its emissions reaching 128 g/km.
Finally, the S-Cross with the 1.6-liter diesel engine will emit 106 g/km, while the four-wheel drive version will emit 114 g/km. The weight of the basic version is 1,200 kilos and its luggage space reaches 430 liters.
