In 1991, Mercedes presented the C112, as the successor to the C111. The C112 was equipped with a 6 liter V12 engine producing 408 hp engine with 580 Nm of torque. The model was liked by many people and Mercedes received 700 orders for the car, with customers to prepay for it, but eventually the company never sent it in production.

The car’s design was like nothing Mercedes had presented before and it featured a small front intake, intakes on the front of the rear wheels, mirrors mounted on the upper part of the car’s doors, double exhaust tailpipes, an active aerodynamic spoiler and Gull-wing doors.
