Peugeot presented the 308 R HYbrid, a concept hatchback described as “the most complete 308”. The car’s design borrows elements from the Quartz concept and it has an aggressive body kit, 19 inch wheels and a two color paint job, using blue and black.

It is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that combines a four-cylinder 1.6 liter gasoline engine producing 270 hp and two output electric motors producing 85 kW (115 hp) each. The motors are mounted on each axle, the entire hybrid set to produces 500 hp with 730 Nm of torque.
The car has a weight ratio of 60% forward and 40% rear, with the electric motors powered by a 3kWh battery, which can be charged via an energy regeneration system, that produces power, when the car is braking.
The car has four driving modes. In the ZEV mode, the car uses only the rear motor, the front is activated depending on the pressure applied by the driver on the gas pedal. On the Road mode, the hybrid set delivers 300 hp with 400 Nm of torque, in the Track mode the car produces 400 hp with 530 Nm of torque, while in the Hot Lap mode the car produces 500 hp with 730 Nm torque.
