RAM at the Detroit auto show presented the 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel, the hardcore version of the simple Ram 1500. The car features an aggressive grille with a black bumper, LED lights and a hood with two huge air intakes.
The fenders are wider and the arches accommodate 17 inch alloy rims, with Toyo Open Country A/T 33 inch tires . On the back the car features a double exhaust tailpipe, new lights and the logo of Ram.
The interior features seats covered with fabric, while the dashboard and cabin are decorated with Iron Gray Metallic and Radar Red details. Also, the model is equipped with heated seats and storage space in the console, that incorporates a smart phone/tablet holder.
The Ram 1500 Rebel, is available exclusively as a Crew Cab but offers the choice of two engines: one of them is the 3.6 liter Pentastar V 6 that produces 305 hp and 364 Nm of torque and the other one is the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 with 395 hp and the 555 Nm torque. Both engines are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with the four-wheel drive system being available in the optional equipment. The car is also equipped with a lift kit that increases the ground clearance by 2.5 inches, Bilstein shock absorbers and air suspension. Sales of the Rebel will begin in the second half of 2015, with the price being announced then.
