Parked somewhere in Colorado, we see a test mule of the third generation of the Hyundai ix35. The car is equipped with the body of the current generation, but beneath it lies a new platform of high-strength steel. The new ix35 will be lighter than the current, with Hyundai promising improved rolling quality and better driveability.
It will be available with diesel and gasoline engines (1.6 GDi, 1.7 CRDi and 2.0 CRDi) which will be 10% more efficient than the current ones. The power will pass on either the front or all four wheels. The model will be presented in early 2015, with sales to begin by next spring,
