The current Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid has an electric autonomy of 17 km. The latest rumors however, report that the fourth generation of the hybrid model will nearly triple its autonomy.
The car will be presented at the Tokyo auto show in October of 2015 and it will go on sale in 2016. The car’s design will borrow some elements from the Mirai, with Toyota aiming to make the design of the Prius more sophisticated and give it a different look, compared to the current model.
