World’s fastest Volkswagen Beetle

The yellow Volkswagen Beetle that you see in the main picture is equipped with a 2-liter TSI engine, that has a bigger turbo, new pistons, connecting rods, new camshafts and it is able to produce more than 600 hp with 678 Nm of torque on the crankshaft or 550 hp with 571 Nm on the wheels.

The car features also a limited slip differential, a lower suspension and special wheels and tires that can run on salt. It recently ran in the salt flats of Bonneville where it managed to reach a speed of 328 km/h, which makes it the fastest Beetle in the world. Finally for braking, apart from its brakes it also uses a parachute.
