Toyota presented the eighth generation of the Toyota Camry, which made its debut at the Detroit motor show. The new model has a quite different appearance compared to the current one, being more aggressive in design, while also having dynamic characteristics.
It is based on the new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform and according to the company it is more “sporty and fun to drive” than all the older model of the series.
Its length of the car reaches 4.86 m, with its ;wheelbase being longer by 51 mm, while its height reaches 1.44 meters. Aesthetically, it features a new grille, thinner lights and an aggressive bumper design, with a large airway.
Mechanically it is available with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which is also offered in a hybrid, combined with a CVT transmission. Finally, the car is offered with a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine, which is combined with anew 8-speed automatic gearbox, with Toyota not announcing detailed technical characteristics for any of the engines.
Its interior features a central console that makes use of quality materials, such as wood and aluminum, giving the car a premium feel, an 8-inch screen for the infotainment system, a 7-inch screen for the instrument panel and a head-up display of 10 inches.
