This is the Volkswagen Cross Up! The car is identical to the prototype that was presented at the exhibition in Frankfurt in September 2011 with the production version to be officially presented at the Geneva Show this March.
The car is based on the five-door Volkswagen Up! and offers increased ground clearance by 15 mm with black protective plastic surroundings and silver ornaments. It will be equipped with the same wheels as the prototype.
Mechanical it is equipped with a 1,0 liter three cylinder engine with 75 hp combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. The wheels are 16 inches with and the size of the tires is 185/50.
At the interior there are new fabrics on the seats in gray or red, and new color combinations on the dashboard. The steering wheel is made out of leather, as is the gear knob and handbrake grip. The changes are completed with a chrome trim.
Sales will begin later his summer in Germany at a starting price of 13,925 euros.
