Hyundai has released the first sketch of the new ix35, which will debut at the Geneva auto show in March. The Korean company released also a video in which we see Peter Schreyr, president and chief designer of the Hyundai-Kia designing the new crossover.

The design is bold and muscular, having the characteristic hexagonal grille, chrome details, thin light and a sloping roofline. Hyundai says that the new ix35 will be a big step forward in the world, having bold and sporty appearance.
It will be available with a 1.6 liter GDi petrol engine and two diesel engines, a 1.7 CRDi and a 2.0 CRDi. The power is transferred to the front wheel or to all wheels, the engines are combined with manual and automatic transmissions. As for the interior, it will feature a three-spoke steering wheel, a big screen in the center console and a new dashboard.
