Peugeot has announced that a 308 with the 1.2 liter PureTech turbo three-cylinder petrol engine of 130 hp managed at the track of AlmerÃa, to do 1,810 km with just a tank. This means that the 308 during the 32 hour test had an average consumption of just 2.8 l/100 km.
Of course, under normal conditions, the car has more consumption, but according to Peugeot, this record is a benchmark as the most economical car with a petrol engine. Peugeot also said that the 308 with 1.6 liter BlueHDi diesel engine of 120 horses under normal conditions, has an average consumption of 3.1 l/100 km and emmits 82 g/km of CO2.
