According to rumors Hyundai is developing the new generation of the ix35 Fuel Cell, which will have a biger autonomy. The second generation of the hydrogen-powered ix35 will have 30% more autonomy than the current generation, which means that its autonomy will be about 345 miles.

The car is expected to be released in January of 2018, when South Korea will conduct the Winter Olympics, with the car to become the hydrogen model with the biggest autonomy.

Hyundai used to sell also a hydrogen-powered Tucson, which sold only 544 units worldwide, since 2013 with its price in Korea being around $50,000.
