Subaru has proved that they see the developments in the automobile industry from a different perspective and they make their moves steadily and wisely.
In US the company has already released the Crosstrek Hybrid and in Japan the Impreza Sport Hybrid, with more hybrids to follow. According to Japanese media, the company has started the development of a new platform that will support also a fully electric car.
According to the executive vice president of the company, Tom Doll:
Subaru may not be the first automaker that will launch a hybrid or electric car, but when we do, we will do it as it should be done.
In related news, rumors say that the new Forester and Outback will probably be offered in hybrid versions.
