The new Subaru WRX STi will be equipped with a 2 liter turbo engine with 320 hp

Subaru Tecnical International announced that the new WRX STi, which will be released in August 2018, will be provided with a new direct-injection turbo boxer engine, that will produce 320 hp at 5,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 441 Nm torque.

The most important, perhaps, change is on the engine capacity, as the company announced that the new WRX STi will be equipped with the FA20 engine, which means it will be 2-liter, namely 1.998 ml . The current model is driven by the EJ25, namely a 2.5-liter turbo engine producing 305 hp with 393 Nm of torque.
