Subaru on 16 August trademarked the BRZ tS name on the US patent office, which means that the car will be available in US.
The version will be based on the facelift model, presented before three months, and it will feature a different sports suspension both front and rear and a larger diameter drive shaft. The engine will probably remain unchanged, which means that we are talking about the same 2-liter, four-cylinder, atmospheric engine that delivers 205 hp with 211 Nm of torque.
Regarding the interior, apart from the changes of the BRZ facelitft, the BRZ tS will have a new speedometer, a leather steering wheel and leather gear shift knob and Recaro seats. In Japan, the car was available in only 300 units, but the company has not announced yet how many units they will release in the US.
